If you look at the US military expenditures per capita, they are way out of line with other countries. Look at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_military_expenditures . Colin Powell looks at how we can cut this level of expenditure.

The trick is to roll/unroll them. A helper is good also, for the weaving part. Update: made this pie again, but used fresh blackberries instead of jarred sour cherries, along with 2 packets of gelatine (~ 3 Tablespoons) mixed in with lemon juice. Tasted even better!

I really wanted to vote for Meek. But, to all Florida Democrats [note: I'm an independent, because I'm weird and don't like political parties]: please pool your
votes with the independents and moderate conservatives to defeat Rubio.
Rubio's a big ball of tangled rhetoric, and we need to roll him back
into the political sewers.

Tea-partiers, make no mistake:
Rubio is a pure neo-con riding the latest fad you've created (see the
pull-quote below). Anyway, look at the poll results here (in the chart, please note how Rubio has strengthened his lead in most polls listed since August), here, here, here, and here. It's obvious that, unfortunately, Rubio is doing quite well. Meek has no chance, and the only way out of this is by having moderate conservatives and Democrats all get behind Crist.

It's not an optimal situation, but politics is a game of compromise.
